Working as part of Team Olimpia to raise money for LLS, WPP provide much need support in the area of Social Media and with joint sponsorship fund raising and contributions. Team Olimpia was led by Olimpia Zuccarelli (Owner and proprietor of Zuccarelli’s Italian Restaurant and Bar in West Pam Beach) who was nominated for LLS Woman of the Year. WPP helped shatter previous fund raising records set in Palm Beach County by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Palm Beach County Man & Woman of the Year; nominees collectively raised a total of $772,265.
Additionally, WPP was active involvement in the KidSanctuary Campus’ annual fund raiser, the Haute Hoedown. KidSanctuary Campus is a not for profit organization committed to providing a safe home for abused, abandoned, and neglected children in our community who have been removed from their homes and placed in foster care. The campus has 3 cottages; offering services for boys and girls. Palm Beach County graciously donated this land for our project. The campus includes 24-hour care and housing for the children who are considered the most vulnerable in the foster care system. KidSanctuary Campus brings in expert, professional foster parents who raise the children living in our homes. They provide comfort, security and consistency. It is often the first time these children are in such a safe, structured environment. They may stay until reunited with their parents or they are adopted by a family.
Josh Konigsberg, VP of Marketing & Sales participated on 2 committees for the Haute Hoedown; the PR & Marketing Committee and the Event Set-up and Breakdown Committee. Proceeds from the Haute Hoedown directly support the construction of the enrichment center that is scheduled to break ground in the spring of 2016.
