CEO and founder of Online Video Network (OVN) a pioneer in the development of streaming audio and video technology. Mr. Weeks secured investment funding and fulfilled the company’s business development capital needs through private placement stock offerings, which he supervised. He formed a working strategic alliance with Digex, a premier server co hosting operator and operator of data centers including the world’s largest data center of its time and its own data network. While developing the business as Founder and CEO, Mr. Weeks formed a board of directors and brought in a new CEO while retaining the position of President. OVN later changed its name and became Adara Networks (Adara). During his tenure with Adara, Mr. Weeks worked with the CEO and staff in analyzing certain emerging technologies being pioneered by PHDs in the electrical engineering department at the University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC). Mr. Weeks then worked with expert patent attorneys at the McDermott, Will, and Emory law firm in Menlo Park, California to license certain application layer routing technologies from UCSC and subsequently develop significant patents based on the technologies. Adara continues to operate profitably from headquarters in San Jose, CA.

VP and partner of Nature Fresh. Mr. Weeks spearheaded the development of a device that would keep perishables fresh during long ocean-freight transports. Collaborating with top engineers at Clifton Precision, a division of defense contractor Litton Industries, and Air Products and Chemicals (APIC, a fortune 200 Industrial Gas and Chemical company), Weeks secured agreements with APIC and some of the world’s largest ocean-freight transport companies to develop and demonstrate the device. He was the point-person in negotiations with APIC and its attorneys, business-unit managers and vice presidents, to produce a Worldwide Royalty-Bearing License Agreement between APIC and Nature Fresh – the first and only such agreement APIC had entered into at that time.
